A man shared his frustration over the exchange rate in Nigeria today as the naira continues to fall against the dollar.

According to him, things were getting out of control.

In a post on X, the man, Chikadibia, showed his banking app, which indicated that the naira exchanged for N978.10 to 1 Canadian dollar.

Later on, the same baking app showed that 1 Canadian dollar was exchanged for N980.

Chikadibia, whose X address reads Canada, said the exchange rate in Nigeria was spiralling out of control.

Naira falls against the US Dollar

Less than 48 hours ago, it was reported that the naira hit a record low to the dollar at the black market.

The naira dropped to N1300 to the US Dollar at the parallel market on Tuesday, January 16, 2023.

After Chikadibia shared his frustration on X (formerly Twitter), many Nigerians took to the comment section to agree with him.
